Andrew Shedden is a singer/songwriter/musician and producer living in Fort Smith, Northwest Territories.
Originally from Peterborough, Shedden has been entertaining audiences for over 15 years. As a solo artist, Shedden has opened for David Usher (Moist), Rik Emmett (Triumph) and has had the opportunity to share the stage with members of the Downchild Blues Band. He has performed alongside numerous artists as a sideman at such notable festivals as Boots N Hearts, Havelock Jamboree and the Toronto Beaches International Jazz Festival.
Shedden’s latest recording “Better Off This Way” is a collection of 10 songs that showcase his writing and singing. Produced by James McKenty (Blue Rodeo, Cuff the Duke), “Better off This Way” features Shedden’s blues, alternative rock and folk influences mixed up into a compelling sonic narrative.
Currently in pre–production for his sophomore record. Shedden is honing his live show and writing new songs!
